About the Role

Matar Al-Baqami Holding is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Trailer Technician to join its operations in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time position is critical for maintaining the company's fleet of refrigerated trailers and requires a professional with 2-5 years of specialized experience.

Role Overview

The Refrigeration Trailer Technician will be responsible for the comprehensive inspection, accurate diagnosis, efficient repair, and ongoing maintenance of refrigeration units installed on refrigerated trailers, commonly referred to as reefers. This role ensures the continuous operational readiness and reliability of these essential cooling systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigerated trailers and their associated refrigeration units.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system faults.
• Inspect critical components including compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, sensors, and control systems.
• Repair refrigerant leaks and accurately recharge refrigeration systems.
• Conduct routine service activities, such as oil and filter changes.
• Utilize specialized diagnostic tools and software to identify equipment issues effectively.
• Maintain precise repair and inspection records.
• Ensure strict compliance with all established safety policies and regulations.

Required Qualifications

• A Diploma or Technical Certification in Refrigeration, HVAC, Mechanical, or Electrical Technology.
• Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex control systems.

Experience and Work Environment

Candidates for this role should possess 2 to 5 years of practical experience in refrigeration unit maintenance or a closely related technical field. This is a full-time position based in Dammam, within the Eastern Province, contributing to the operational efficiency of Matar Al-Baqami Holding.
