About the Role

The Sales and Marketing Manager at Residence Inn by Marriott in Dammam is responsible for proactively identifying and managing sales opportunities. This full-time role focuses on ensuring proper business turnover for service delivery and building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve sales objectives and personal sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with off-property sales channels to ensure coordinated and complementary sales efforts.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to facilitate future bookings through activities such as sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, and trade shows.
  • Develop relationships within the local community to expand the customer base for sales opportunities.
  • Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in sales calls with team members to acquire new business and close deals.
  • Execute and support the operational aspects of booked business, including generating proposals, writing contracts, and managing customer correspondence.
  • Provide accurate, complete, and effective turnover to Event Management.

Market Analysis and Revenue Maximization

  • Identify new business opportunities to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
  • Understand the overall market, including competitor strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand, to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Secure the most advantageous opportunities for the location based on prevailing market conditions and specific needs.
  • Gain an understanding of the location’s primary target customer and their service expectations to offer relevant business solutions.

Customer Service Excellence

  • Support the company’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty through consistent service excellence.
  • Service customers effectively to grow the share of the account.
  • Execute and support the company’s established customer service standards.
  • Set a positive example for guest relations and interactions.
  • Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of experience in sales and marketing roles, demonstrating a proven track record in achieving sales objectives and building strong customer relationships.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
