Sales & Operations Director

About the Role

Our client, a Saudi-based industrial manufacturer and part of a larger group, is seeking a Sales & Operations Director. This full-time position is based in Dammam, Eastern Region, and is crucial for leading the business and driving its next phase of growth. The role involves end-to-end business leadership with full P&L accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the P&L and build profitable growth through demand generation, customer development, and disciplined pricing strategies.
• Initiate and secure new customer accounts within Saudi Arabia.
• Ensure alignment between sales commitments and production, procurement, and inventory to facilitate on-time order delivery.
• Improve profit margins through optimized purchasing, waste reduction, and accurate product costing.
• Develop the organizational structure, enhance skill sets, and refine processes to support business expansion.
• Translate business plans into clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and foster an accountable, collaborative team environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience with full P&L ownership in industrial manufacturing or a related sector, such as pumps, pipes, industrial components, fabrication, or contracting.
• Demonstrated success in acquiring new customers, achieving revenue growth, and improving margins.
• Practical experience in linking sales forecasts with production and procurement planning.
• Experience leading a small or mid-sized business.
• An engineering background with a practical understanding of production, quality control, and costing principles.
• Solid experience within the Saudi market and established relationships with local industrial customers.
• Possess a confident demeanor and sound judgment for making difficult decisions while maintaining fairness.
