About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Waiter/Waitress to join their team in Dammam. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to creating memorable guest experiences by providing attentive service in a dining environment.

Role Overview

The role of a Waiter/Waitress, referred to internally as a Guest Service Expert, focuses on delivering a wide range of services to ensure guests enjoy their dining experience. This involves more than just serving food; it's about contributing to a unique and memorable atmosphere. Key aspects of the role include maintaining a safe workplace, adhering to company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and presenting a professional appearance and demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting tables to prepare for guest service.
• Communicating effectively with the kitchen staff regarding orders and guest needs.
• Interacting with guests to take orders and serve food and beverages.
• Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and supplies.
• Ensuring transactions are handled efficiently and contribute to the overall guest experience.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to perform physical tasks associated with a hospitality environment. This includes:

• Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, including moving over varied surfaces.
• Reading and understanding menu information.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience is required.
