About the Role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team in Dammam, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role involves overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates, including scheduling, performance management, and training.
• Manage and optimize warehouse layouts and processes for improved efficiency and space utilization.
• Ensure accurate inventory control through cycle counts, stock checks, and addressing discrepancies.
• Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
• Implement and enforce all company safety policies and procedures, including regular safety training and inspections.
• Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment, coordinating repairs and preventative maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and production teams to ensure smooth material flow and meet operational targets.
• Ensure the accuracy of all warehouse steps and transactions within the SAP system.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new warehouse technologies and systems.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience of 5-10 years in warehouse operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices specific to a warehouse setting.

Technical and Operational Skills

• Proficiency in operating various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, with relevant certifications.
• Experience with SAP system for managing warehouse transactions and inventory.
• Strong understanding of inventory control methods and warehouse optimization strategies.
