Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality teaching in accordance with the Misk Curriculum.
Establish a stimulating learning environment that promotes engagement.
Plan and prepare lessons while adhering to school policies.
Monitor, assess, and report on student progress.
Conduct meetings with parents to discuss student performance.
Provide pastoral support in line with school procedures.
Participate in meetings and professional development.
Safeguard student welfare and maintain school health and safety policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree (essential).
Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent (essential).
Professional development in leadership (desirable).

Desired Experience:

Minimum of two years’ relevant experience.
Evidence of outstanding teaching capabilities.
Contribution to successful academic results.

Skills Required:

Strong understanding of effective teaching methodologies.
Ability to build positive relationships with students and parents.
IT proficiency with Microsoft and Google tools.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

The International Programs School is seeking a dedicated Social Studies Teacher to join our vibrant team at our Secondary Boys School in Qurtobah. This is a Full Time position with a start date in August 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate the development of students in various domains including cognitive, affective, ethical, and physical growth.
Provide an engaging educational program tailored to students' needs.
Assist in other school programs as required by IPS policy and contractual obligations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree (minimum) in Social Studies or a related field.
Teaching License is required.
Skillful in curriculum planning, teaching, and class management.
International experience and IB background preferred.
Strong communication skills complemented by a positive and cooperative attitude.
Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.
