We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cost Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. As a leader in the construction and investment sectors, ARTAR offers an exciting opportunity to be part of significant projects that drive economic value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation and Budget Preparation: Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates and budgets for all project phases.
- Cost Monitoring and Reporting: Track project expenditures and prepare periodic cost reports.
- Forecasting and Variance Analysis: Update cost forecasts and conduct variance analysis to manage budget discrepancies.
- Change Management: Evaluate financial impacts of project changes and manage documentation.
- Cost Control Systems and Tools: Implement cost control tools to ensure effective tracking.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work with project managers and procurement teams for cost-related information.
- Contract and Vendor Management: Review contracts to ensure alignment with cost expectations.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks and provide mitigation strategies.
- Policies and Procedures: Develop cost control procedures and ensure compliance.
- Inventory Monitoring: Enforce inventory policies with monthly reviews.
- Project Closure: Review and track project closure costs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in cost control and project management.
- Proficiency with cost control tools (*, Primavera, SAP).
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Preferred certifications: PMP and CCP.
Personal Attributes:
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proactive in identifying potential issues.
- Able to work independently and as a part of a team.
