About the Role

W Hotels is seeking an Attendant Laundry to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves managing laundry operations, ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of all items, and maintaining equipment. The role requires individuals to work efficiently and adhere to established safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and control washing, dry cleaning, and drying machines.
• Replenish washing products and clean machine filters as required.
• Isolate stained or damaged items and determine appropriate action (repair, detach, rewash, or discard).
• Inspect items for cleanliness after washing, drying, or dry cleaning, and transfer them to clean linen carts.
• Adjust drying time and temperature based on fabric type.
• Remove lint and other elements from dryer and dry cleaning machine filters after each load.
• Fold clean items to the specified size, either manually or using a machine.
• Maintain an up-to-date list of cleaned items.

Safety and Professional Conduct

• Adhere to all chain safety policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance issues, accident risks, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Complete required safety training and obtain necessary certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and appearance.
• Respect the confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company property.
• Support colleagues and treat them with dignity and respect, contributing to team goals.
• Comply with all quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds (* kg) without assistance.
• Capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or a full shift.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines to identify defects.
• Reach objects overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, as well as sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps.
• Ascend and descend stairs and service ramps.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education Level: No high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience is required (0-1 years of experience).
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
• License or Certification: None required.

Additional Duties

The Attendant Laundry will perform all other tasks as requested by management that correspond to the position.
