For its office in Riyadh, ARX is seeking a Bridges and Structures Engineer to join its full-time team.

Role Overview

The Bridges and Structures Engineer will be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is expected to have 5-10 years of experience. This role requires a strong background in structural engineering, with specific experience in the design and review of bridges and structures for infrastructure projects within Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in structural analysis, design calculations, and technical documentation, ensuring adherence to international design standards. This position demands strong technical and analytical skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Perform structural design and analysis for bridges and structures on infrastructure projects in accordance with international design standards.
Prepare structural calculations, drawings, technical reports, and comprehensive design documentation.
Support design reviews and ensure compliance with project requirements, specifications, and quality standards.
Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure effective project delivery.
Review technical documents, drawings, and construction-related submissions.
Provide technical support during construction stages and assist in resolving design-related issues.
Contribute to project planning, technical assessments, and the development of engineering solutions.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements and company quality procedures.
Communicate clearly and efficiently with project team members and clients.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Strong knowledge of structural design principles, calculations, and international design standards (*, American, British, European, or equivalent).
Proficiency in structural analysis software, AutoCAD, and BIM tools.
Demonstrated experience with reinforced concrete and steel structure design.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
