About the Role

Aventus Global Talent is seeking a Data Sharing Specialist to join a significant Saudi-level data initiative in Riyadh. This is a contract position focused on advancing data governance and open data frameworks within the Kingdom. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to national digital transformation efforts.

Role Context and Purpose

The specialist will contribute to the strategic development and implementation of data sharing policies and compliance frameworks. This position is integral to supporting digital transformation by ensuring effective and compliant data exchange across various platforms, aligning with established national data principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Process data sharing requests and open data submissions in line with established policies and principles.
• Support the requirements for Saudi data platforms, including the National Data Catalog (NDC) and the Open Data Platform (ODP).
• Ensure strict compliance with Saudi data regulations and relevant legislation.
• Update and monitor operational performance indicators (KPIs) across relevant departments.

Required Qualifications

• Saudi Nationality is a mandatory requirement for this position.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data management, data governance, or a closely related field.
• Strong understanding of data sharing policies and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with Saudi data platforms is considered an advantage.

Experience and Expertise

The ideal candidate will possess 5 to 10 years of professional experience, demonstrating a solid background in managing data-related initiatives. Expertise in ensuring regulatory adherence and operational efficiency within data ecosystems is essential for success in this role, contributing to a robust data environment.
