About Red Sea Global and the Finance Director Role

Red Sea Global (RSG) is seeking a Finance Director to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is integral to VRS Shared Services, a key function supporting RSG's destinations, including those managed by its subsidiary, DMC. DMC specializes in designing and implementing hotel accommodations, transportation, itineraries, activities, and logistics for RSG destinations, serving both B2B and B2C customers with end-to-end planning and booking solutions.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Finance Director leads the VRS Finance function within VRS’ Shared Services, overseeing all financial operations. This includes Accounting, Budgeting & Forecasting, and Financial Reporting. The role ensures sound financial management, regulatory compliance, and provides strategic financial support to enable optimal organizational performance aligned with Visit Red Sea’s long-term goals. The position requires over 10 years of experience in a relevant financial leadership capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Leadership & Strategy: Provide strategic financial direction and insights to senior leadership and the VRS Shared Services team. Align financial planning with Visit Red Sea’s organizational goals and long-term strategy, acting as a trusted financial advisor to the Head of VRS Shared Services and other division heads.
• Accounting & Compliance: Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes, and maintain internal controls while adhering to financial policies and procedures.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process across VRS Shared Services departments. Develop and manage rolling forecasts, variance analyses, and financial models, partnering with department heads to monitor budget performance and recommend corrective actions.
• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Present financial results, key metrics, and recommendations to senior management, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the VRS Finance team, including Accounting, Budgeting & Forecasting, and Financial Reporting sections. Set clear performance objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and foster a high-performance, collaborative finance culture.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience of over 10 years in a financial leadership role.
• Strong background in financial planning, accounting, and reporting within large-scale organizations.
• Experience in a shared services, hospitality, tourism, or government-related environment is considered an advantage.
