About the Role

Hyundai Motor Company is seeking a Head of Marketing to lead all brand, marketing, communication, digital, CRM, and customer engagement activities within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, focuses on driving market growth, brand competitiveness, customer acquisition, and overall business performance through effective local marketing strategies. The Head of Marketing ensures alignment with HMC's global brand standards and HMMEA regional marketing direction.

Role Context and Strategic Alignment

This position serves as a strategic link between the KSA office, HMMEA, HMMME, and local partners, balancing local market needs with regional consistency, governance, and efficiency. The Head of Marketing operates under the management of HMBSC, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Head of Marketing & Communication, HMMEA. Responsibilities include leading and managing all marketing and communication activities in the KSA market, reviewing distributor marketing initiatives within approved frameworks, and recommending budget allocation, campaign strategy, and marketing investments. Major budget approvals and strategic initiatives are subject to approval by the Head of HMBSC and alignment with the Head of Marketing & Communication, HMMEA.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual marketing and communication strategies aligned with KSA business objectives and regional priorities.
• Manage the KSA marketing calendar, campaign roadmap, and performance KPIs.
• Translate regional and global initiatives into locally relevant, culturally appropriate, and commercially effective campaigns for the KSA market.
• Lead local brand building, product launches, communication strategy, and customer engagement initiatives.
• Oversee digital marketing, CRM operations, lead generation, CSR activities, crisis communication, and customer journey enhancement programs.
• Manage the KSA marketing budget, including regional and locally funded initiatives, with full accountability for ROI and effectiveness.
• Review, approve, and monitor distributor marketing plans, budgets, and campaigns, particularly for regionally funded or co-funded initiatives.
• Monitor business and marketing KPIs and recommend corrective actions to improve performance.
• Drive performance marketing activities across paid media, SEO/GEO, CRM, analytics, and digital platforms.
• Act as the primary marketing interface for KSA distributors, HMMME, and relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate closely with the Head of Marketing & Communication, HMMEA on regional priorities, campaigns, and strategic initiatives.
• Share market insights, competitor activities, business performance updates, and best practices with regional stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the automotive industry (OEM HQ or RHQ experience preferred).
• Demonstrated marketing, brand, or communication leadership experience within KSA.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration experience with Sales, Product, and HQ teams.

Work Environment

This role primarily involves normal office duties within the KSA Regional Office. The position requires a travel commitment of approximately 20-25%.
