Manager Finance & Accounting

About the Role

Unified Real Estate Development Company is seeking a Manager Finance & Accounting to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for the overall financial management, business analysis, and strategic financial planning for Unified Real Estate Development (URED) and its subsidiaries. The incumbent will lead the Finance & Accounting team, drive digital transformation of financial processes, and serve as the primary business partner to the CFO and executive leadership across all financial, treasury, tax, and reporting matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight, direction, and governance across all sub-functions including FP&A, Accounting, Tax, and Treasury.
• Prepare and manage annual business plans, manpower plans, and departmental budgets for the Finance function.
• Establish and monitor measurable KPIs for the Finance & Accounting team, driving accountability and performance.
• Drive the digital transformation of finance operations, including automation via Yardi, real-time Power BI dashboards, and AI-assisted reporting tools.
• Lead multi-function governance and performance reporting to the CFO & VP Support Services.
• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and Saudi GAAP.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory frameworks including VAT, Zakat, WHT, and ZATCA e-invoicing requirements.
• Lead all statutory audit processes, manage external auditor relationships, and resolve audit findings.
• Oversee preparation of consolidated financial reports for URED and subsidiaries, including intercompany reconciliations.
• Manage treasury operations, including cash flow planning, banking relationship management, and credit facility oversight.
• Monitor investment portfolio performance and provide recommendations to the CFO on capital allocation.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decisions on property acquisitions, development feasibility, lease pricing, and capital allocation.
• Collaborate with all department heads on budget management, cost controls, and financial performance improvement.
• Present financial performance, forecasts, and strategic analysis to the Board of Directors and executive leadership.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Finance & Accounting team, building capability and succession plans for critical roles.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification is required.
• A Master's Degree (MBA or MSc Finance) is an advantage.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience in real estate, property management, or a closely related sector.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, Saudi GAAP, VAT, Zakat, and WHT regulations.
• Proven experience leading audit processes and managing external auditor and regulator relationships.
• Track record of driving financial process transformation and team capability development.

• Strong capability in ensuring financial discipline, cashflow forecasting accuracy, and cost reporting transparency.
• Aptitude for providing executive-level reporting on financial performance, risk exposure, and treasury position.
• Proficiency in championing the use of AI-assisted financial tools and advanced analytics for proactive insight generation.
• Ability to conduct mid-year and annual performance appraisals for direct reports.
• Skilled in identifying talent gaps and driving training and development initiatives within the function.
• Commitment to promoting a high-performance, compliance-conscious, and continuous-improvement culture.
