About the Role

Al Futtaim Group is seeking an Operations Manager - Vehicle Distribution for its Logistics division in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on ensuring compliance with customs and port authorities, adhering to KSA regulatory requirements, and managing the efficient distribution of vehicles. The position is critical for achieving optimal customer satisfaction and business targets through timely supply and delivery at minimal cost.

Role Context and Objectives

The Operations Manager will oversee warehousing, documentation, and port clearance processes, ensuring prompt deliveries across various dealer locations in KSA. Success in this role involves strategic cost management to maintain budgeted net contribution and fostering strong relationships with customers and regulatory bodies. The objective is to ensure operational excellence and adherence to financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure strict, accurate, and timely management reporting to provide visibility of daily operational performance, achievements, and trends.
• Update KPI dashboards and operational reports for management review using SAP systems.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all logistics and supply chain activities within the division.
• Monitor financial targets through monthly P&L review and achieve Net Profit budget through strict cost control.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers by providing proactive communication, advice, and operational feedback.
• Ensure timely delivery of vehicles and customer requirements across all showrooms, dealer, and distributor locations in KSA.
• Ensure all vehicle movements within premises adhere to strict compliance with safety and relevant quality standards.
• Formulate and finalize Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with customers and negotiate with suppliers aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct staff performance appraisals and development reviews in line with company regulations, implementing PDR techniques.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in operations management or a related field, with a total experience range of 5-10 years.
• Proficiency in SAP and other computer applications, coupled with a strong understanding of logistics processes.
