Role Overview

Globant is seeking a Senior Operations Specialist to lead commercial health, client billing governance, and delivery operations for technology and IT consulting accounts based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a contract position requiring 5-10 years of experience. The role reports directly to the Operations Director and involves bridging delivery teams with client commercial stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly billing cycle end-to-end, including validating consultant timesheets and delivery milestones.
• Track client purchase order (PO) consumption and resolve invoicing disputes to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
• Oversee and defend contract mechanisms for Time & Materials, Fixed Capacity, and Managed Services structures.
• Coordinate change requests (CRs), scope extensions, and commercial rate card renewals.
• Partner with account delivery leads to monitor project actuals against forecasts.
• Track account gross margins, billable utilization, and resource pyramid/location mix.
• Develop operational and financial dashboards using Advanced Excel and Power BI.
• Integrate modern AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to streamline recurring operational reporting workflows.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in operations, commercial health, or billing governance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end billing cycles and invoice collections.
• Experience with contract governance and margin optimization.
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel and Power BI for operational and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with AI tools for process automation is beneficial.
