Roche is seeking a Patient Journey Partner (PJP) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to Roche's redefined societal role, focusing on direct collaboration with ecosystem stakeholders to co-create patient-centric solutions. The PJP operates as an empowered local leader, without traditional sales or commercial targets, to deliver improved outcomes for patients and the health system.

Role Context and Purpose

The Patient Journey Partner role is designed to address rapid shifts in healthcare and evolving stakeholder needs. This position is functionally agnostic, prioritizing patient outcomes by bringing external insights into Roche and sharing Roche's expertise with the broader healthcare ecosystem. The PJP acts as a system thinker, identifying shared purpose among stakeholders to co-create solutions within the ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted partner and primary point of contact between stakeholders and Roche, sharing community needs internally and driving solutions.
• Collaborate with patient journey stakeholders to remove roadblocks and identify opportunities that deliver value for patients and the community.
• Steward Roche’s products throughout their lifecycle, supporting appropriate use and communicating their merits to healthcare professionals truthfully and balancedly.
• Oversee the entire patient journey, identifying shared purpose among stakeholders to co-create ecosystem solutions.
• Utilize local and network expertise and resources as needed, including collaboration with other PJPs.
• Ensure positive experiences for stakeholders when engaging with Roche employees, products, and services.

Qualifications and Experience

• University degree in Pharmacy or a relevant field is required; an advanced degree in Life Science and/or an MBA is a plus.
• CCXA Academy certification is desired.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including partnering with Therapeutic Area Experts (TAEs) and organizations, are required.
• Experience partnering with Patient Advocacy Groups (PAGs) is highly desired.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams is required.
• Experience in both formulating cross-functional strategies and orchestrating cross-functional teams is highly desired.
• Strong business acumen with desired expertise in commercialization, medical, and customer experience excellence.
• Deep understanding of patient journey(s) and related treatments in defined disease area(s) to enable specialist-level engagement.
• Broad understanding of Roche’s current portfolio and future pipeline to contribute to future-based solutions.
• Robust understanding of medical affairs strategies and tactics, including clinical research.
