Planning & Project Controls Engineer (PCS)

About the Role

Atrium Project Management - APM, part of Talaat Moustafa Group (TMG), is seeking a Planning & Project Controls Engineer (PCS) to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time position is for professionals with 5-10 years of experience, specifically within Construction Project Management (PMC).

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the project's master schedule, encompassing all milestone activities from pre-design, design, tender and award, through construction and completion.
• Develop various schedules including design, pre-bid, shop drawing and submittal, separate contract, and occupancy schedules.
• Prepare, submit, and distribute monthly narrative, cost, schedule, and financial reports.
• Support the development of CPM schedules and precedence diagrams for design and separate design and construction contract packages.
• Review contractor's schedules and updates, advising Managers and Superintendents on critical activities within design and construction timelines.
• Assist Design and Construction Managers and Superintendents with activity sequencing and resource allocation.
• Evaluate tenders to ensure separate contractor schedules and any qualifications meet overall project time requirements.
• Provide recommendations when actual progress deviates from scheduled progress to facilitate re-scheduling or acceleration for on-time completion.
• Conduct analysis of alternatives and options in work programming to address "what if" scenarios impacted by market fluctuations, changes, or unanticipated events affecting the design and construction schedule.
• Participate in coordination meetings as required.
• Perform other assigned tasks within the scope of job duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A background in Construction Project Management (PMC) is required.
• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience directly relevant to the planning and project controls field.
