Program Manager (Data Management AI Data Science Projects)

About the Role

Riyad Bank is seeking a Program Manager for Data Management AI Data Science Projects to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves facilitating the accurate and smooth implementation of programs within the assigned division, acting as a liaison between Project Managers and program sponsors to ensure clear and continuous information exchange, and supporting efficient project execution.

Program Management and Strategy Alignment

The Program Manager will support the Head of EPMO in developing an enterprise-wide strategy and translating it into cohesive initiatives executable within the Bank's capacity. This includes ensuring ongoing program alignment within the assigned division during the development and monitoring of projects to achieve the Bank's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head of EPMO in transforming the EPMO function by advocating for project management rigor as defined by the Project Delivery Framework.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions for consistent work execution.
• Recommend improvements to departmental policy to the Head of Governance, Policy & Quality Assurance and direct the implementation of procedures and controls across EPMO activities.
• Ensure Project Manager alignment with the Project Delivery Framework, including Project Concept Documents (PCD), Business Cases (BC), and other project artifacts.
• Recommend updates to project and program management tools and templates to the Head of Governance, Policy & Quality Assurance as needed.
• Conduct quality assurance on project-related deliverables (*, Business Case, Charter, Risk/Issue logs) for Project Managers within the division.
• Provide support to the relevant division in managing benefits realization and correcting projects that are not meeting agreed targets.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in program management, particularly within data management, AI, or data science projects.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, operating within the EPMO function of Riyad Bank. The role requires collaboration with Project Managers, program sponsors, and various divisional heads to ensure strategic alignment and efficient project delivery.
