About the Role

Duncan & Ross is seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join its Engineering vertical in Riyadh. This full-time position is central to managing the commercial and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring financial control and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Role Overview

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for overseeing all commercial submissions, variations, and claims, playing a critical role in project cost management and contractual adherence. This involves detailed assessment of design changes and proactive engagement with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage variations, claims, and commercial submissions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assess and evaluate IFT versus IFC design changes and determine their commercial impact.
  • Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and variation submissions.
  • Administer lump-sum contracts in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Prepare and manage contractual and commercial correspondence with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project costs and support commercial reporting to ensure effective cost control.
  • Coordinate with project teams to identify and evaluate changes affecting project costs and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company commercial procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Extensive experience in interior fit-out projects is mandatory.
  • Previous project experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is mandatory.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a professional engineering environment.
