About the Role

Awqaf Investment is seeking a Real Estate Investment Sr. Associate to join its Real Estate Investments team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves contributing to the success of the company's real estate portfolio through investment analysis, market research, financial modeling, and transaction execution. The position offers exposure to strategic planning, investment structuring, and cross-functional collaboration across various asset classes and markets.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Sr. Associate will play an active role in supporting the full investment lifecycle within a dynamic and growth-oriented environment. This includes liaising with internal teams and external partners, gaining hands-on experience, and contributing to portfolio initiatives. The role is central to informing investment strategy and portfolio positioning through data-driven insights and active support in transaction processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and maintain current intelligence on real estate trends, macroeconomic developments, and sector benchmarks to inform investment strategy.
• Support the preparation of investment screening memorandums and presentations for executive and committee-level approvals of new investments and development projects.
• Build and maintain financial models to assess investment feasibility, support underwriting decisions, and evaluate return scenarios across real estate asset classes.
• Monitor performance metrics of existing assets and projects, and deliver periodic, data-driven reports to support asset management strategies.
• Actively support transaction planning and execution by contributing to deal structuring, financial analysis, due diligence coordination, and preparation of internal approval materials.
• Support portfolio-level initiatives, including asset and land monetization strategies and business case development, through various analyses and financial scenario modeling.
• Lead the evaluation of development and investment opportunities by preparing feasibility studies and coordinating with internal teams and external consultants.
• Communicate with external partners, including fund managers and service providers, for due diligence, updates, and alignment on investment activities.
• Drive the coordination of internal meetings and planning sessions by preparing briefing materials and tracking departmental initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to internal governance frameworks, investment policies, and reporting protocols.
• Collaborate with legal, investment operations, and other internal stakeholders for efficient transaction execution and risk management.
• Manage the preparation and administration of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and support the evaluation of proposals.
• Contribute to the enhancement and implementation of investment policies, operational processes, and departmental procedures.
• Support the Real Estate Investment teams across all department activities and initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in real estate investment.

Essential Skills

• Ability to comprehend, synthesize, evaluate, and clearly communicate real estate financial models, concepts, and solutions.
