About the Role

SAMI Advanced Electronics is seeking an SAP Integration PI/PO Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for a junior to mid-level professional with 0-1 years of experience. The specialist will support the development, configuration, and maintenance of integration interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems, working under the guidance of senior consultants.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will contribute to various aspects of SAP integration, focusing on interface development, data mapping, system monitoring, and collaborative support. This role provides an opportunity to build hands-on experience in a structured environment.

Integration Development and Data Transformation

• Support the design, configuration, and deployment of integration interfaces using SAP PI/PO components such as Integration Directory, ESR, and Adapter Engine.
• Build and configure interfaces connecting SAP and non-SAP applications utilizing common adapters including IDoc, SOAP, REST, RFC, and File.
• Assist in implementing synchronous and asynchronous integration scenarios under senior guidance.
• Develop basic to intermediate message mappings between source and target data structures.
• Support data format handling, including XML, IDoc, and flat files, across various interfaces.
• Learn and apply reusable mapping components under senior direction.

Monitoring and Support

• Monitor interface execution and identify failed or stuck messages using PI/PO monitoring tools.
• Perform first-level troubleshooting for common interface errors and escalate complex issues to senior team members.
• Support the resolution of support tickets within agreed timelines.

Testing, Documentation, and Collaboration

• Perform unit testing of developed interfaces and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Document interface configurations, mapping logic, and test results.
• Support the transport of interface objects across landscapes under senior review.
• Work closely with senior consultants, functional teams, and business analysts to understand interface requirements.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to build expertise in PI/PO and integration concepts.
• Assist in preparing status updates and basic technical documentation.
