SAP MM Techno Functional (MM+ABAP)

About the Role

HCLTech is seeking a SAP MM Techno-Functional Consultant (MM + ABAP) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM), Inventory Management (IM), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and SAP ABAP Development. The ideal candidate will possess a balanced combination of functional consulting and technical development capabilities to support end-to-end SAP business processes within an SAP AMS environment.

Role Context and Purpose

The consultant will serve as a single point of contact for both functional and technical issues. This position involves collaborating with business users, analyzing requirements, developing solutions, troubleshooting production incidents, and ensuring stable SAP operations across MM, IM, and procurement processes. The role is critical for maintaining and enhancing SAP system functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end support for SAP S/4HANA MM, SRM, and P2P processes.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
• Manage incidents, service requests, change requests, and problem management activities.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring business and system issues.
• Participate in solution design workshops and recommend SAP best practices.
• Support the procurement lifecycle, including Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements, Goods Receipt, Invoice Verification, and Service Procurement.
• Provide user training, functional specifications, process documentation, and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Support release management, transport management, testing, and deployment activities.
• Work closely with Finance, Controlling, Funds Management, Basis, Security, and Integration teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM), Inventory Management (IM), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
• Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP Development.
• Experience in an SAP AMS (Application Management Services) environment.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring on-site presence to support critical SAP operations and collaborate with various internal teams and business stakeholders.
