Role Overview

Mace is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Hotel Delivery) to join its project management team. This full-time position involves working on a high-profile mixed-use development currently in the construction phase. The Senior Project Manager will act as part of the program delivery partner organization, leading the delivery of major building works from construction through to testing, commissioning, handover, and close-out.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of a major building package through construction and handover phases.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, specialists, and internal project controls teams to achieve program objectives.
• Monitor construction progress against approved schedules and identify mitigation measures.
• Ensure all works comply with contractual obligations, quality standards, safety requirements, and project procedures.
• Chair project meetings and provide clear reporting on progress, risks, issues, opportunities, and key decisions.
• Review contractor programs, methodologies, recovery plans, and resource strategies.
• Drive proactive risk management and resolve technical, commercial, and operational issues.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, and project close-out activities.
• Support governance processes, approvals, and project reporting requirements.
• Foster a collaborative working environment among all project stakeholders.
• Champion health, safety, sustainability, and quality performance throughout delivery.
• Mentor and support project managers and other junior team members.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, project management, or a related discipline.
• Professional membership such as MRICS, MCIOB, PMP, or equivalent is desirable.
• Over 10 years of experience delivering large-scale building developments.
• Proven track record working in a project management consultancy, delivery partner, PMC, or client organization.
• Strong construction-phase experience on large mixed-use, hospitality, leisure, entertainment, commercial, or complex building projects.
• Experience managing multiple contractors and consultant teams on major programs.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, project controls, scheduling, risk management, and change management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams within fast-paced delivery environments.
• Experience through commissioning, testing, handover, and operational readiness is highly desirable.

Project Context

The project is one of the largest programs in Saudi Arabia, encompassing a major mixed-use development with sports facilities, entertainment, arts, and associated infrastructure. The role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
