The Role of Senior Project Manager

Star is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-stakeholder programs. This full-time position, based in Riyadh Province, requires 5-10 years of experience and involves serving as Star's primary relationship holder with senior government and corporate clients. The role is central to establishing the PMO approach for the delivery team and significantly contributing to the growth of the company's project management capability. This is a leadership role focused on program ownership, managing scope, timelines, stakeholder relationships, subcontractors, and delivery quality simultaneously, rather than a coordination-focused position.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead 2–3 large programs concurrently for government and corporate clients.
• Manage senior client relationships at ministry and executive levels.
• Develop and implement PMO structures, governance frameworks, and reporting systems.
• Coordinate internal teams and external subcontractors to achieve shared milestones.
• Produce executive-level reports and stakeholder communications.
• Mentor junior project managers and establish delivery standards.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance planning, reporting, and team productivity.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated experience in independently leading programs from initial brief to successful delivery, beyond mere participation.
• Strong client relationship management skills, including comfort and proficiency in presenting to senior government officials and executives.
• A structured approach to problem-solving, characterized by defining problems thoroughly before seeking solutions.
• Active engagement with AI tools, integrating them into daily workflow rather than occasional use.
• A hands-on work ethic, with a proven track record of direct involvement in tasks rather than solely overseeing them.

Work Environment and Expectations

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, requiring a proactive individual who will not only lead programs but also mentor junior project managers and contribute to shaping Star's overall project delivery practice. The role demands a commitment to direct involvement and strategic oversight.
