ServiceNow SPM Sr. Technical Consultant

About the Role

Alfanar Projects is seeking a ServiceNow SPM Sr. Technical Consultant to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role is responsible for developing, implementing, and improving Service Portfolio Management (SPM) solutions within ServiceNow. The consultant will optimize PPM, Demand Management, APM, and Resource Management to align with business objectives, ensuring value and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, configuration, and administration of various ServiceNow SPM modules.
• Support integration activities between ServiceNow SPM and other enterprise systems, utilizing REST, SOAP APIs, and Integration Hub for seamless data exchange.
• Implement best practices for Service Portfolio Management, including optimizing workflows, automating processes, and establishing governance frameworks within ServiceNow.
• Participate in requirement gathering sessions and stakeholder workshops, performing functional analysis to align business needs with portfolio management capabilities.
• Configure applications, business rules, workflows, and automation scripts using ServiceNow’s scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide, and Business Rules).
• Assist in testing, deployment, and change management for new SPM-related implementations, ensuring they meet functional, financial, and strategic requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues related to portfolio management processes, dashboards, and integrations.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for SPM configurations, customizations, integrations, and governance structures, ensuring compliance with security, access control policies, and data governance.
• Stay updated with ServiceNow SPM enhancements, industry trends, and best practices, recommending continuous improvements and innovative solutions.

• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets as per delivery schedules, utilizing resources effectively within efficient cost and time.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
• Solve arising problems and escalate complex operational issues.
• Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes, including specifications for products or related activities.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities.
• Comply with related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity.

Qualifications and Experience

• 6-10 years of relevant experience.
