Solutions Engineer

About the Role

Cisco is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join its Public Sector team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on supporting national transformation initiatives and mega-projects within the Kingdom. The Solutions Engineer will collaborate with Account Managers and cross-functional experts to design and implement technology solutions for public sector clients.

Role Impact and Responsibilities

As a Solutions Engineer, you will work in a pre-sales capacity, playing a key role in shaping the technology strategies of Public Sector clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with Account Managers to develop tailored, business-driven solutions.
• Articulating the financial and strategic value of Cisco’s portfolio to clients.
• Delivering technical presentations and leading proof-of-concepts.
• Designing architectures that demonstrate Cisco’s capabilities across networking, security, cloud, and automation.
• Translating business needs into technology outcomes to position Cisco as a trusted advisor to Saudi Arabia’s government and enterprise stakeholders.

Team and Collaboration

This role is part of the KSA Sales organization, where you will collaborate with colleagues and experts to design solutions that support the Kingdom’s digital vision. The team culture emphasizes trust, collaboration, and technical excellence, aiming to deliver meaningful outcomes for customers and communities.

Required Experience

• Candidates must have 10+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
