Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking a Technical Design Department Manager to lead its Design Office operations. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and encompasses oversight across regional offices in Khobar, Egypt, and the Philippines. The role is central to ensuring effective coordination among all engineering disciplines and the timely delivery of high-quality design projects.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Technical Design Department Manager will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the Design Office. This includes overseeing resource planning, establishing design governance, and ensuring multidisciplinary coordination and operational excellence. The successful candidate will work closely with all Discipline Heads to integrate their efforts and drive project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall operations of the Design Office across all regional offices.
• Coordinate and integrate the work of all Discipline Heads, including Architecture, Structural, Civil, MEP, Infrastructure, and BIM.
• Ensure timely delivery of design projects in line with quality, budget, and schedule requirements.
• Monitor resource utilization and optimize workload distribution across offices.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, design procedures, and QA/QC processes.
• Lead multidisciplinary design coordination meetings and resolve technical issues.
• Drive continuous improvement, digital engineering, and BIM initiatives.
• Prepare management reports, resource forecasts, and performance dashboards for senior leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 20 years of experience in multidisciplinary engineering design consultancy.
• At least 8–10 years in a leadership role managing large Design Offices.
• Proven experience coordinating multiple engineering disciplines and international design teams.
