About ABB and the Role

ABB is seeking a Technical Sales Lead for Cyber Security to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position reports to the Hub Digital Lead AUEN IMEA and is central to supporting ABB's OT Cybersecurity portfolio across the IMEA region. The role contributes to the Digital in automation business IMEA, focusing on driving growth initiatives and customer engagement.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Technical Sales Lead for Cyber Security will serve as the primary technical authority for ABB's OT Cybersecurity portfolio. This involves leading technical development, solution positioning, qualification, design, and execution support. The role is accountable for supporting a cybersecurity business portfolio with an annual commercial target of Multi Million USD, focusing on pipeline development, opportunity conversion, solution consulting, and technical customer engagement across the IMEA region. The work model for this role is hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the IMEA technical authority for ABB OT Cybersecurity solutions.
• Contribute to the software product roadmap and portfolio by suggesting new features, functionality, and variants.
• Manage end-to-end technical sales support to identify customer needs and develop, demonstrate, and articulate digital solution features and their ability to meet requirements.
• Orchestrate all stages of the end-to-end customer lifecycle, including digital opportunity identification and qualification, discovery and value engineering, solution blueprinting, point of contact/pilot, solution deployment, and post go-live operations/support.
• Drive consistent development of digital solutions and processes, ensuring client requirements and needs are met in a timely manner.
• Develop qualified opportunity pipelines across Energy, Water, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Mining, and Process Industries.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical development and solution design in cybersecurity.
• Experience in supporting growth initiatives, customer engagements, and opportunity development.
• Proficiency in working with sales, local divisions, OPCs, and global product teams.
