Urban Planner

About the Role

Emdad By Elm is seeking an Urban Planner to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves analyzing urban growth patterns, real estate market data, and land uses to support development decisions and strategies. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the analysis of urban growth patterns and neighborhood needs, linking them to real estate market data.
• Spatially analyze real estate supply and demand to identify gaps in services and land uses.
• Analyze land uses, master plans, and existing and future projects to inform development decisions.
• Prepare spatial maps and indicators in coordination with Data and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) teams.
• Develop planning reports and recommendations that support real estate growth and development strategies.
• Analyze real estate supply and demand data at both neighborhood and regional levels.
• Analyze real estate market indicators, including prices, occupancy, sales, and rental activity.
• Prepare periodic reports to support real estate growth and development decisions.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain and update real estate databases.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in urban planning or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex urban and real estate data.
• Experience in preparing spatial maps and planning reports.
