About Misk Schools and the Academic Administrative Officer Role

Misk Schools is seeking an Academic Administrative Officer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and serves as a crucial point of contact within the school's administrative framework.

Role Overview and Core Focus

The Academic Administrative Officer acts as the primary point of contact for all telephone callers and visitors to the school. This role provides essential administrative support to the office team, operating within a fast-paced environment. A key focus is demonstrating excellent customer service while prioritizing the safeguarding and well-being of all students, adhering strictly to the school’s statutory policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone calls courteously and direct them to the appropriate staff members.
• Warmly receive and greet visitors, providing necessary information and assistance.
• Effectively implement emergency and evacuation procedures as required.
• Support the nurse with medical evacuations and essential communication for the school.
• Maintain all Front Desk areas, including the majlis, parents' cafe, and nannies' cafe, ensuring they are well-presented and liaising with Facilities Management for refreshments.
• Coordinate closely with departments such as Security to ensure accurate communication for events and student arrivals/dismissals.
• Implement the school’s health and safety policies.
• Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for faculty and staff with students, parents, or other departments/schools.
• Manage the accurate collation of attendance records using the iSAMS system.
• Ensure accurate input of information onto the Noor system.
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the school office.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the line manager.

Safeguarding and Student Welfare

A fundamental aspect of this role involves safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The Academic Administrative Officer is required to adhere to the school’s safeguarding policies and staff code of conduct, providing direct support to the Designated Safeguarding Lead as a priority to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably within an educational setting.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing records and scheduling.
• Proficiency in administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and system management (iSAMS, Noor system experience is beneficial).
• Commitment to upholding health and safety policies and emergency procedures.
• A proactive approach to supporting student welfare and safeguarding initiatives.
