About the Role

Nalco Water, An Ecolab Company, is seeking an Area Manager for its Basic Industries Division. This full-time role focuses on driving revenue and profit growth for Nalco Water programs and services within targeted accounts in the water industries. The position requires a consultative sales approach with an emphasis on account leadership and retention of strategic accounts. The Area Manager will build long-term customer relationships by understanding business drivers, executing system assurance programs, and introducing new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with current and new customers to identify business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans to maintain and grow sales within the assigned territory.
Utilize extensive product, service, and market knowledge in customer interactions.
Monitor local and regional competition, market shares, and pricing within the assigned area.
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including plant or facility executives, in current and new customer accounts.
Execute sales plans within the assigned customer base and new accounts to achieve defined territory profit increase goals.
Provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving complaints, and escalating issues as necessary.
Engage in problem-solving through system analysis, data interpretation, and providing written recommendations to ensure optimal customer operations.
Actively promote and support Nalco Water innovations and technology to foster long-term business relationships.
Anticipate customer needs based on knowledge of customer processes and operations, identifying unmet requirements.
Support the district by aligning with customers and the marketplace on pricing strategies, service models, efficiencies, potential revenue streams, product profitability, business defense, and prospecting.
Monitor, track, and maintain adequate field chemical inventories and equipment.
Provide analytics and deliver all reports required by customer contracts and internal reporting responsibilities, such as service reports.
Supervise, mentor, coach, and train District Representatives.
Collaborate on cross-functional projects within Nalco Water to promote knowledge transfer and deliver innovative processes and programs.

Qualifications and Requirements

2-5 years of experience in technical sales, with a proven track record of success.
Must reside in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 55 pounds (25 kg) chest high.

Work Environment and Location

This role offers a flexible, independent work environment where the Area Manager will manage a monthly schedule. The route territory includes Dammam, Yanbu, and Riyadh.
