Auction Sales Manager

About the Role

Talents Hub is seeking an experienced Auction Sales Manager to join a confidential client in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time commercial role focuses on expanding the client's auction business within Saudi Arabia. The manager will be responsible for identifying new auction opportunities, sourcing properties and other assets, securing client mandates, and driving sales and revenue growth.

Role Context

The Auction Sales Manager will manage the entire auction cycle, from initial opportunity identification and client acquisition through marketing, execution, and closing. This involves building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and coordinating with various internal teams to ensure successful auction delivery. The role requires a strong understanding of the auction market and a proactive approach to business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and source properties or other assets suitable for auction, developing a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Generate new business and secure auction mandates from various entities, including property owners, investors, developers, financial institutions, government-related entities, and liquidation entities.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, buyers, bidders, and other market stakeholders.
• Manage client relationships from initial contact and proposal development through auction execution and closing, including preparing or supporting proposals, tenders, agreements, and presentations.
• Negotiate with clients and buyers to support successful transaction closings.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop auction plans that attract qualified buyers, increase participation, and enhance buyer engagement.
• Follow up with buyers and investors before, during, and after auctions.
• Work towards sales targets, pipeline goals, KPIs, and revenue objectives, monitoring performance, conversion rates, and results.
• Coordinate with operations, project management, legal, marketing, and technology teams to ensure successful auction delivery.
• Support private, government-related, and judicial auctions, as well as digital and online auction activities.
• Maintain accurate records of clients, leads, opportunities, pipelines, and auction results, and manage or coordinate the sales and business development team as required.

Candidate Profile

• 2-5 years of strong experience in sales, business development, and auctions, preferably within the Saudi real estate market.
• Direct exposure to real estate auctions, including private, government-related, or judicial auctions, digital auction platforms, property sales, auction-related business development, project management, or property liquidation is strongly preferred.
• Understanding of the Saudi real estate and auction market, with the ability to build relationships with potential auction clients and local stakeholders.
• Demonstrated record of lead generation, client acquisition, property or asset sourcing, negotiation, closing, and revenue generation.
• Experience managing auction pipelines, sales targets, KPIs, and revenue objectives.
• Commercially driven and proactive, with the ability to develop new business and coordinate auction delivery across multiple teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation, client relationship management, sales planning, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
