The Role of Automation Engineer

The Automation Engineer at Syncrow is responsible for integrating and managing IoT technology within home automation systems. This full-time role, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focuses on delivering efficient solutions that bridge advanced technological capabilities with user experiences. The position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves ensuring technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct technical site inspections to understand client needs for home automation devices, scenarios, and scenes, while identifying site constraints.
• Design, configure, install, integrate, test, and commission smart home wireless systems (*, Zigbee, Wi-Fi), including applications for lighting, curtains, HVAC, AV, alarm, and security.
• Perform on-site or off-site troubleshooting for system failures.
• Develop control solutions to meet specific client requirements.
• Participate in training sessions provided by suppliers on devices and programming.
• Prepare automation layouts and wiring diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and all company procedures through timely communication.
• Lead the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring the IoT platform meets market needs and company goals.
• Innovate and iterate on product features based on user feedback and market analysis.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product and use data-driven insights for decision-making and strategy.
