About the Role

Careernet is seeking an experienced Aviation Technician specializing in air compressors, nitrogen, and oxygen generators. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role involves the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical aviation equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air compressors and compressed-air systems.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot nitrogen generation systems/generators.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot oxygen generation systems/generators.
• Carry out testing, servicing, and performance checks of equipment and associated components.
• Identify equipment faults and perform corrective maintenance in accordance with approved technical procedures.
• Maintain and service associated high-pressure systems, valves, regulators, pipelines, and connections where applicable.
• Ensure safe handling and servicing of oxygen and nitrogen systems in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.
• Follow OEM manuals, technical publications, maintenance procedures, and applicable quality standards.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with applicable aviation, MRO, EASA/FAA/GCAA, and occupational safety requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, workshop personnel, and other maintenance teams for troubleshooting and repair activities.
• Follow all applicable hazardous-material, pressure-system, and workshop safety procedures.

Required Experience and Skills

• Experience: 5+ years of relevant technical experience, preferably within aviation, aerospace, aircraft MRO, aircraft component workshops, or a similar regulated environment.
• Hands-on Experience: Proven experience with air compressors, nitrogen generators/nitrogen generation systems, and oxygen generators/oxygen generation systems.
• Maintenance Expertise: Experience with inspection, servicing, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of technical equipment.
• High-Pressure Systems: Experience working with high-pressure gas systems, cylinders, regulators, and associated equipment is highly preferred.
• Aviation Knowledge: Knowledge of aviation maintenance procedures, technical manuals, and safety standards.
• Technical Interpretation: Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and equipment documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Diploma / ITI / Technical certification in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aviation Maintenance, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Certifications: Aviation maintenance or MRO-related certifications are an advantage.
• Regulatory Exposure: Exposure to EASA Part-145, FAA Part-145, GCAA, or equivalent regulated MRO environments.
• Testing Experience: Experience with hydrostatic testing, pressure testing, or requalification of high-pressure cylinders is an advantage.
