About the Role

St. Regis is seeking a Bartender (Saudi Only) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring high standards of service and maintaining the bar area. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare drink orders for guests following specified recipes and using measuring systems.
Prepare and serve various coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, according to standard recipes.
Operate, calibrate, and clean commercial espresso machines, grinders, and coffee brewing equipment.
Demonstrate knowledge of coffee beans, roasts, and brewing techniques to assist guests with recommendations.
Issue, open, and serve bottled beverages.
Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks and stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
Transport supplies to the bar setup area and wash soiled glassware.
Remove soiled wares from the bar top and tables and place them in the designated area.
Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs for supplies.
Process all payment methods, count the bank at the end of the shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure the bank.
Secure coolers, cabinets, and storage areas, and complete closing duties.

Operational Compliance and Guest Service

Follow all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Speak with others using clear and professional language.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support the team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

Read and visually verify information in various formats (*, small print).
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
