Role Overview

SAB is seeking a Basel Reforms Assistant Manager to join its Finance - Basel Reforms department. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is central to supporting the bank's regulatory compliance and capital management frameworks.

Basel Support and Reporting

The Assistant Manager will provide essential support for Basel-related activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing Basel Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to the performance and capital management team.
• Supporting the daily review and distribution of liquidity ratios.
• Assisting with the Q17 Process for monthly and quarterly liquidity reports.
• Supporting Pillar 3 Disclosures, including annual, semi-annual, and quarterly reports.

SAS System Management

A significant aspect of this role involves hands-on engagement with SAS systems for risk and liability management. Responsibilities in this area include:

• End-to-end involvement in the SAS system for regulatory risk management and asset and liability management.
• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing SAS solutions.

Business Process Improvement

The role involves actively identifying and addressing gaps in business processes to enhance efficiency and compliance. This includes:

• Leading ongoing reviews of business process gaps.
• Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
• Ensuring process notes and Data Input Models (DIMs) are completed.

Analytical and Reporting Duties

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for generating insightful reports and conducting analyses to support operational decision-making:

• Creating informative and actionable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Conducting insightful and ad-hoc analyses to investigate ongoing operational issues.
• Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.

This full-time position is an integral part of the Finance - Basel Reforms department at SAB, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a proactive approach to regulatory compliance and financial risk management within a dynamic banking environment.
