About the Business Development Consultant Role

Ideolux, a designer, engineer, and producer of high-quality LED lighting solutions, is seeking a Business Development Consultant to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on expanding Ideolux's market presence and client base across Saudi Arabia. The role requires a professional with a strong network within the architecture, construction, lighting, or engineering sectors, and a comprehensive understanding of project-based sales, lighting standards, and regional business practices.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Development Consultant will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities with a range of stakeholders including architects, consultants, contractors, developers, and government entities. This includes building and maintaining robust relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the industry. The role involves promoting Ideolux’s product portfolio and lighting design solutions for commercial, infrastructure, and hospitality projects, conducting presentations, project briefings, and technical discussions. Monitoring project pipelines, tender opportunities, and prequalification processes are also key duties. Collaboration with internal lighting design and technical support teams for proposal development, staying informed on market trends and competitor activities, and representing Ideolux at industry events are integral to the position. Regular reporting on leads, progress, and business forecasts is required.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field. A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in business development or sales within the lighting, construction, or architectural industry in Saudi Arabia is required. Strong knowledge of the local market, particularly Riyadh and Central KSA, is essential. Existing networks with design consultants, MEP contractors, or government entities will be considered a significant advantage. The role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Fluency in English is mandatory, with proficiency in Arabic being a plus. A self-motivated and target-driven individual capable of working independently or with remote teams is preferred. A valid Saudi driving license is also preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from 15,000 to 25,000 SAR per month. Work Schedule
