About the Role

TechGenies KSA is launching its operations in the Kingdom and is seeking a founding Business Development Executive to establish and grow its market presence in Riyadh. This full-time role involves building the business from the ground up as the first commercial hire, taking ownership of the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals. The successful candidate will drive initial client acquisition and, as the business scales, will build and lead a dedicated sales team, progressing into a KSA sales leadership position with executive management potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct direct outreach across target sectors including HR Tech, Education, Corporate AI Training, and Oil & Gas, while reactively engaging with Real Estate, Retail, and Logistics.
  • Manage the full sales pipeline from initial contact through to signed contracts.
  • Qualify and convert leads generated from partner introductions and marketing efforts.
  • Represent TechGenies KSA at industry events and maintain accurate pipeline and activity records in Zoho CRM.
  • Collaborate with TechGenies' technical and solution specialists to support deal progression as needed.

Performance Measurement

This is a data-driven role where performance is measured from day one based on activity and pipeline metrics tracked within Zoho CRM. Key metrics include outreach volume, meetings booked, conversion rates into qualified opportunities and signed deals, the proportion of self-sourced versus marketing-sourced pipeline, and sales-cycle length. A revenue target will be jointly established once ideal client profiles and typical deal sizes are validated within the market.

Candidate Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years of B2B sales or business development experience, preferably within the tech, SaaS, or professional services sectors.
  • An existing and active professional network within HR Tech and/or Education in Saudi Arabia.
  • Demonstrated track record of independently sourcing and closing deals, beyond managing inbound leads.
  • Full professional fluency in both Arabic and English, for both spoken and written communication.
  • Currently based in Riyadh or willing to relocate to Riyadh.
  • A proactive approach to building new ventures from inception, with readiness to discuss past performance metrics including target attainment, typical deal size, sales-cycle length, and self-sourced pipeline contribution.

Compensation and Support

This full-time position in Riyadh offers a competitive base salary complemented by an uncapped, tiered commission structure. While the role requires significant independent drive, TechGenies provides a dedicated team for content and social media to generate leads, alongside essential tools, systems, and robust delivery infrastructure to support sales efforts.
