Role Overview

AECOM is seeking a detail-oriented and organized CAD Operator to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves creating and modifying technical drawings and designs using industry-standard CAD software. The CAD Operator will collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to translate concepts into precise digital models and documentation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and optimize 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings based on project specifications and design requirements.
• Interpret and analyze design briefs, sketches, and technical documentation to produce accurate digital representations.
• Organize and maintain CAD files, ensuring proper naming conventions, version control, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to refine drawings and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and company specifications.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings for production, construction, or manufacturing purposes.
• Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements.
• Assist in the development of design standards and CAD templates to improve workflow efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding project status, revisions, and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot CAD software issues and optimize performance to maintain productivity.
