About the Role

Afaq - Warehouse Branch is seeking a Category Manager, Amazon Now to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on managing the end-to-end performance of product categories within Amazon Now's quick commerce offering in Saudi Arabia.

Role Context

Amazon Now (Anow) provides quick commerce services in Saudi Arabia, delivering everyday essentials within 15 minutes from dark stores. The Category Manager will support the performance of one or more product categories, executing selection, availability, and commercial priorities defined by senior category leadership. This is a hands-on position that involves data analysis, cross-functional coordination, and driving category improvements. The role requires close collaboration with Senior Category Managers, Vendor Managers, and Operations to ensure daily execution aligns with category strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily category performance metrics, including GMS, units, availability, and SWOOS, identifying gaps and conducting root cause analysis.
• Maintain and expand the in-stock assortment by identifying missing ASINs, coordinating with Vendor Managers for onboarding, and tracking listing progress.
• Support vendor negotiations and commercial terms under the guidance of senior category leadership.
• Conduct regular competitive analysis across platforms such as Ninja, Keeta, Noon, and Hungerstation to identify selection and availability gaps within assigned categories.
• Prepare category inputs for commercial events like Ramadan, National Day, and Back to School, including inventory requirements, promotional plans, and readiness checklists.
• Coordinate with Replenishment and Inbound teams to resolve availability issues and ensure category-level in-stock targets are met.
• Build and maintain category dashboards and performance reports to support weekly and monthly business reviews.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated ability to dive into data, coordinate across teams, and drive category improvements.
• Experience in e-commerce or quick commerce is beneficial.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a fast-scaling quick commerce environment.
