About the Role

Amazon is seeking a motivated Commercial Leader, who is a Saudi national, to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves leading one of Amazon's KSA store businesses with full Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibility. The role focuses on developing key areas such as vendor and merchant management, in-stock management, and product management, with the objective of growing an Amazon business and enhancing the customer shopping experience in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the business team and across the company to ensure accountability for key metrics including increased selection, unit growth, inventory turns, and in-stock rates.
• Drive periodic innovation initiatives aimed at improving customer experience and strengthening vendor relationships.
• Contribute local market insights to define the customer experience and represent these insights to senior executives, vendors, third-party merchant teams, and the category team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with central company-wide teams in Technology, Operations, and Merchant Services to establish and optimize processes for efficient resource utilization.
• Translate business metrics into actionable plans that drive category performance based on various inputs.
• Develop and implement sustainable process improvements to achieve year-over-year progress within the category.
• Identify new approaches to enhance selection and category awareness for long-term performance management.
• Focus on talent management, including effective recruitment and development of team members, and fostering an environment where individuals can excel and deliver results.
