About the Role

Datamatics Technologies is seeking a Database Administrator (Mid-Level DBA) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires an experienced professional to manage and support enterprise database environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various database technologies.

Role Overview

The Database Administrator will be responsible for standard DBA activities, including administration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of database systems. This position involves ensuring data integrity, availability, and security across multiple database platforms. Collaboration with application, infrastructure, and development teams is a key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities

Perform standard DBA activities including database administration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and maintain database systems.
Manage database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery activities.
Monitor database performance, availability, capacity, and health.
Perform SQL and database performance tuning.
Manage users, roles, permissions, and database security.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and performance issues.
Support database migrations, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
Ensure data integrity, availability, and reliability.
Maintain database documentation, procedures, and configurations.
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and development teams on database-related requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

3-5 years of hands-on experience managing and supporting enterprise database environments.
Strong experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and/or MySQL.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a collaborative environment, supporting various teams across the organization.
