About the Role

SURGCA, a modern surgery center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join its team. This full-time, on-site position is integral to supporting dental professionals and ensuring a high standard of patient care across multiple specialties. SURGCA is committed to providing evidence-based care with a focus on patient-centered outcomes and accelerated recovery.

Role Overview

The Dental Assistant will be a key member of the clinical team, responsible for preparing treatment areas, providing direct assistance during dental procedures, and ensuring patient comfort. This role also involves maintaining a sterile and organized clinical environment, educating patients on oral hygiene, and accurately documenting patient records and treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment areas, ensuring all necessary dental instruments and materials are readily available for procedures.
  • Assist dental professionals during various dental treatments and examinations.
  • Manage patient comfort, providing clear instructions and support before, during, and after dental procedures.
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to strict hygiene and safety standards.
  • Educate patients on proper oral care procedures and post-treatment instructions.
  • Accurately document patient records, medical histories, and treatment plans in compliance with clinic protocols.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Possess a relevant diploma or certification in Dental Assisting.
  • Hold a valid and active license from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge of Dental Care, Dentistry, and Oral Care practices.
  • Exhibit proficiency in sterilization techniques and a thorough understanding of hygiene standards.
  • Possess hands-on experience in performing Dental Assisting procedures and providing patient support.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills essential for patient care and team collaboration.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is considered a significant advantage.

Work Environment and Experience

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires 0-1 year of experience in Dental Assisting.
