About the Role

GE HealthCare is seeking a Sr. Marketing Manager for the EAGM Region Surgery division. This full-time position requires a strategic marketing leader to drive regional marketing excellence for the Surgery (OEC) portfolio across both direct and indirect markets. The role demands adaptability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders including clinicians, hospital executives, procurement groups, and channel partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary marketing partner to cluster leaders, providing insights, performance updates, and recommendations for monthly operating reviews.
  • Develop and align annual marketing plans with cluster strategies, ensuring disciplined execution and follow-up.
  • Provide real-time visibility on market trends, risks, and opportunities to inform leadership decisions.
  • Analyze SFDC funnel trends to identify obstacles and propose corrective actions.
  • Track and communicate key marketing metrics for direct and indirect markets to support data-driven commercial prioritization.
  • Support tender positioning with competitive intelligence, value messages, and proof points.
  • Lead marketing workstreams for New Product Introductions (NPIs) in the EAGM region, including launch plans, messaging, digital activation, and field readiness.
  • Support structured phase-out activities to ensure clear customer, distributor, and sales team transition guidance.
  • Design and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns to expand reach and enhance visibility.
  • Adapt marketing approaches for both B2B and B2C audiences across direct sales teams and channel partners.
  • Introduce innovative marketing formats to engage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Measure and optimize campaign impact and return on investment (ROI).
  • Develop strategic and operational marketing plans for direct and indirect markets.
  • Create localized commercial tools, including value stories, competitive briefs, messaging decks, and tender packages.
  • Support distributor marketing capabilities to ensure alignment and execution consistency.
  • Maintain awareness of clinical trends, competitive actions, and market dynamics.
  • Synthesize market insights for cluster leaders, Sales, and global teams to shape commercial and product strategies.
  • Identify and support reference sites to drive adoption and clinical advocacy.
  • Develop trusted relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and early adopters.
  • Lead planning and execution of regional congresses, including booth strategy, product showcases, and digital amplification.
  • Support product and competitive training for direct sales teams and channel partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • Extensive marketing leadership experience within healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Proven success in both B2B and B2C marketing across direct and indirect markets.
  • Strong capability in digital marketing, multi-channel campaign development, analytics, and optimization.
  • Experience leading New Product Introductions (NPIs), including launch planning and field enablement.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret funnel metrics, identify trends, and translate insights.
  • Experience acting as a strategic business partner to commercial leaders.
  • Strong project management skills and execution discipline.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across levels.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 30–40% across the EAGM region.

Desired Qualifications

  • MBA or Master’s in Marketing, Business, or Healthcare.
  • Experience in Surgery, Imaging, or MedTech industries.
  • Experience engaging KOLs, clinical stakeholders, and reference sites.
  • Familiarity with tender processes and competitive positioning in public procurement.
  • Experience in multi-country European marketing roles.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools, CRM platforms (*, Salesforce), and CMS tools.
  • Experience coordinating major congresses and customer events.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, matrixed, multinational environment.
