ERP Solutions Engineer

About the Role

AALICO is seeking an ERP Solutions Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on enterprise automation and ERP implementation, requiring an operations-first approach with strong software capabilities. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in relevant fields.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, extract data from, and integrate with ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, Infor, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Develop data pipelines, system integrations, internal tools, and bounded AI workflows at the integration layer.
• Conduct client-facing process discovery, including interviewing operators, mapping exceptions and edge cases, gathering data, and translating workflows into written acceptance criteria.
• Support ERP implementations through go-live and provide post-implementation support.
• Utilize AI tooling, including Claude Code, for daily operations, structured automation, and data-gathering workflows.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-8 years of experience in enterprise automation, ERP implementation, solutions engineering, or digital transformation, with an industrial or operations engineering background.
• Demonstrated hands-on ERP experience with at least one of the following: Odoo, SAP, Infor, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. Odoo experience is highly valued, followed by Infor.
• Proven production experience with live implementations and post-go-live support.
• Practical domain exposure in at least one of the following areas: manufacturing, logistics, procurement, finance operations, or supply chain.
• Operational understanding of concepts such as 3-way matching, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), procurement workflows, and operational exceptions.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong engineering capability at the integration layer.
• Ability to work directly with functional leaders in procurement, operations, finance, and supply chain.
• Comfortable using AI tooling and operating structured automation/data-gathering workflows.

Work Environment and Location

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Candidates must either reside in Riyadh or be willing to relocate. The role requires working on-site at client locations and involves travel across the GCC region.
