Ilmi - عِلمي is seeking an Exhibits Maintenance Technician to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to ensuring the continuous, safe, and visually impeccable operation of all integrated exhibit systems for public use. The technician will provide hands-on, multi-disciplinary technical care across various exhibit components.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

The Exhibits Maintenance Technician is responsible for a range of technical duties, from preventive and corrective maintenance to system diagnostics and aesthetic upkeep. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining exhibit functionality and ensuring a high-quality visitor experience.

Exhibit System Maintenance and Diagnostics

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on assigned exhibit systems in accordance with CMMS schedules, approved SOPs, and OEM manuals.
• Conduct daily exhibit readiness and condition inspections prior to public opening.
• Execute corrective maintenance and repairs to restore exhibit functionality.
• Perform functional testing, calibration, and verification following maintenance or resets.
• Diagnose faults across integrated exhibit systems, including mechanical, electrical, AV, control, and digital components.
• Identify early signs of wear, degradation, or abnormal behavior and report them for corrective action.
• Replace consumables, wear parts, and minor components proactively to prevent failures.
• Support reliability improvement initiatives by accurately reporting repeat faults and abnormal trends.

Operational Support and Documentation

• Support specialist vendors during servicing, testing, and upgrades of exhibit systems.
• Verify exhibit functionality both before and after vendor interventions.
• Protect warranties by ensuring adherence to correct operating and maintenance practices.
• Ensure all work orders are closed by accurately recording findings, actions taken, time spent, and parts used in the CMMS.

Aesthetic Standards and Safety Compliance

• Maintain the aesthetic integrity of exhibits after every maintenance activity.
• Ensure panels, covers, screens, cables, and surfaces are clean, properly aligned, and visually acceptable.
• Adhere to all safety, electrical, water, and public-protection procedures.
• Proactively identify and report emerging hazards that may arise from visitor behavior or misuse.

Required Experience
