About Saudi Building & Construction Management (SBCM)

Saudi Building & Construction Management (SBCM) is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join its team. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of the company's facility assets.

The Role of Facilities Manager

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing the comprehensive operation, maintenance, and optimization of all facility assets. This includes ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable building performance while maintaining strict compliance with applicable standards and client requirements. The successful candidate will contribute to the effective management of building infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all facility systems.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Oversee building operations and ensure optimal performance of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Plan and supervise system upgrades, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Prepare maintenance reports and performance analysis.
• Manage budgets, cost control, and resource planning.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Facility Management, Operations, or Building Maintenance.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred.
