About the Role

xPMO is seeking a Founding Full Stack Engineer to join its core team in Riyadh. This is a full-time position with a genuine path to CTO for the right candidate. The role involves taking ownership of a pre-launch, Arabic-first PMO and portfolio-governance platform built for the GCC's giga-project era. The platform is currently live in production and utilizes a modern stack with AI-assisted development. This position requires bringing engineering rigor and accountability to enhance the existing system.

Role Context and Responsibilities

As the first engineer to own the xPMO codebase, you will be responsible for hardening security, validating hosting and architecture, driving scalability, and becoming the technical backbone of the product. You will not be replacing AI-assisted development but rather augmenting it with engineering expertise. Key duties include:

• Taking full ownership of the xPMO codebase, which includes ****, React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Supabase/PostgreSQL, and Vercel.
• Leading a comprehensive security review and hardening process, covering authentication, multi-tenant data isolation (row-level security), API authorization, secrets management, security headers, and rate limiting.
• Validating and evolving the hosting, infrastructure, and deployment strategies to ensure reliability and scale.
• Managing performance, database design, and scalability as the company onboards new customers.
• Setting the architecture direction, code quality standards, and the technical roadmap.
• Ensuring reliable shipping of enhancements and reducing complete reliance on AI-only development.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate is a strong full-stack engineer with substantial experience in owning and refactoring production codebases, beyond just prototyping. Required qualifications include:

• Solid experience with TypeScript, React/****, and PostgreSQL (Supabase experience is a plus).
• Practical knowledge of security principles, including authentication, authorization, multi-tenant isolation, and common web vulnerabilities.
• Experience deploying and scaling production SaaS applications, including hosting, CI/CD, and monitoring.
• A founder mindset, characterized by high ownership, pragmatism, and comfort in making technical decisions.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Additional experience that would be beneficial for this role includes:

• Experience with B2B / multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with payment gateways such as Moyasar or Stripe.
• Experience with Arabic/RTL interfaces or the GCC market.
• Proficiency in rigorous AI-assisted development practices.

xPMO is an Arabic-first PMO and portfolio-governance platform designed for the current era of large-scale projects in the GCC. The company also operates a consultancy that implements its solutions. The platform aims to transform governance from static documents into a dynamic system, offering integrated portfolio management, stage gates, risk assessment, readiness tracking, and leadership reporting in a bilingual (Arabic/English) and AI-assisted format. The company is pre-launch and preparing for commercial release at Cityscape Global in November 2026. This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
