Job Summary: GenAI Solutions Architect (Chinese Speaker)

BytePlus, a division of ByteDance, is seeking a GenAI Solutions Architect (Chinese Speaker) to join its team in Riyadh. This is a contract position requiring 5-10 years of experience. The role involves developing and implementing technical solutions for enterprise clients, leveraging innovative technologies to drive business growth.

Role Context and BytePlus Mission

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with regional Sales Teams to qualify leads, identify client pain points, and create technical solutions that deliver business results.
• Lead the enterprise client engagement lifecycle end-to-end, from pre-sales solutioning to project implementation, including demos, presentations, RFI/RFP responses, architecture design workshops, and Proof of Concept (POC) delivery.
• Act as a trusted advisor, collaborating with multiple product teams and articulating clear feature requests to shape the product roadmap in both the short and long term.
• Provide thought leadership, industry knowledge, and deep understanding across multiple cloud and Machine Learning (ML) products.
• Work closely with product teams to address Product-Market Fit (PMF) gaps and drive the roadmap of product development and iterations.
• Maintain post-sales solution support and drive upsell/cross-sell initiatives in collaboration with Account Executives.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in a solutions architecture role or a similar technical client-facing position. Proficiency in Chinese is a mandatory requirement for this role.

• Proven ability to qualify leads, identify client needs, and design effective technical solutions.
• Experience leading client engagements through pre-sales, solutioning, and implementation phases.
• Strong understanding of cloud and Machine Learning (ML) products.
• Ability to collaborate with product teams and influence product roadmaps.
• Fluency in Chinese is essential for effective communication in this role.

This is a 12-month temporary assignment managed by a third-party agency. The third-party agency will serve as the employer, handling all contractual terms, including payroll and benefits. While the successful candidate will be assigned to work at ByteDance, they will not be a ByteDance employee.
