About the Role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Head of Aircraft Technical Services to lead a team focused on delivering technical expertise, data, and digital services to aviation partners. This contract role, based in Riyadh, is responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of aircraft operations through data-driven solutions and maintenance support.

Role Overview

The Head of Aircraft Technical Services will manage a portfolio of technical services, ensuring all outputs meet high standards of safety and innovation. The role involves directing global technical assistance, leading MRO strategies, overseeing data management and compliance, and driving digital innovation in maintenance engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the provision of worldwide technical support and expert consultation to address complex operational challenges.
  • Lead Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) strategies to optimize fleet uptime and operational readiness.
  • Supervise the creation and distribution of Technical Data and Service Bulletins, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Drive the development of data-driven digital services and maintenance engineering tools to enhance existing workflows.
  • Implement and maintain a unified governance framework to ensure consistent service quality and compliance with international aviation standards.

  • Strong understanding of aviation authority requirements (*, GACA, EASA) and compliance governance.
  • Ability to balance immediate technical support needs with long-term transformation goals.
